The story’s plot changes to a different time setting where Cutter’s hanging is commemorated and a reenactment is done. She realizes that with his kind of background, he really had little chance to learn anything positive in life or to differentiate between good and bad. The first book Madeline wrote was called ‘Restless Heart’ The author, Amanda Ashley, was first introduced with her book titled ‘Embrace the Night.’ By 2003, her dream of writing for Harlequin came true when her book, ‘Dude Ranch Bride’ was published by them. She wrote ‘Vampire Romance’ which was an anthology much later after having written many Westerns. This single event marked the birth of her writing career.
Her friend’s encouragement saw her send queries to writer’s market and 6 years later with numerous rejections, ‘Leisure Books’ bought one of her books. Madeline never used to show the written books to anyone until one day she gave a friend to peruse one of her books. She would also write when her husband left for work. Her writing career began when her children were still young. She also loves to play with her grandchildren. Madeline absolutely loves plays such as ‘Beauty and the Beast’, going out with her friend and collecting other memorabilia. She still goes to the movies and even theaters when on break from writing. Some of her books are written under the author name, Amanda Ashley. Most of the plots of her books are set in USA featuring Sub-genres of Native Americans. She writes books classified under the contemporary romance and historical genres. She really does love animals as evidenced by her owning several fish, hamsters, dogs, birds, and of course the horse. Much later on, she purchased one and named it Candy. She also loved horses and would request to have them anytime she had an opportunity to do so.
She loved horseback riding and watching movies on Saturdays back then when she was growing up. She and her husband have three handsome boys who have graced their marriage. She was raised and lives in Southern Carlifonia, USA.
